Sensing the inevitable but still secretly hopeful, the couple got their friend Andrea Silvey to surprise them with the sex of the baby with a gender reveal cake, and the mother’s reaction is absolutely priceless!
For anyone unsure of how a gender reveal cake works – the doctor does not tell the mom the sex of the baby during the sonogram, but instead writes it down in an envelope for a close friend or family member to pick up.
Then that person makes a cake with the inside colored blue or pink, and when the mother cuts into it and sees the color, she knows what she’s having.
