A police chase ended in a dramatic crash on camera at 16 Mile and Harper.
The female suspect struck and brought down a pole and traffic light with a 5-year-old child inside.
The child- who was restrained inside – was not injured according to police and the suspect was taken into custody.
Clinton Township police were investigating a suspicious vehicle at a business at 15 Mile and Gratiot when the driver, a 27-year-old from Southfield, suddenly took off. The driver struck a police vehicle, but the officer was not injured.
