In a very clever ad campaign entitled “Experience Nothing” that seeks to increase tourism to the tiny town of Padasjoki in the southern part of Finland, compares the calming peace and quiet of their area with the ongoing chaos and noise in big urban centers like New York City.
The message: In Finland you can spend relaxing nature vacations, meet humorous inhabitants and simply enjoy. So a visit to Finland is not only worthwhile during the polar light season. That’s one more reason to get to know this northern European country with its many lakes, forests – and moose.
