The United States Navy Band, based at the historic Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C., has served the United States of America as the official musical organization of the United States Navy since 1925.
For their Holiday concert, the band had something special in mind when they played “Jingle Bells.” But instead of simply playing the tune, they made it an all-out contest between a banjo and guitar. Senior Chief Petty Officer Keith Arneson played the banjo, while Petty Officer 1st Class Joe Friedman took on the guitar. The result was nothing short of entertaining.
