A Khmer Boy Showing Off His Linguistic Talent While Trying To Sell Souvenirs To A Tourist In Cambodia

The video is shot outside Ta Prohm temple by Venus Goon, a Malaysian tourist. The boy said he can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai, Japanese, English, Korean, French, and Spanish. He also understands German, Tagalog and Malay. He said he had learned all these languages from tourists.

Many netizens are impressed by his talent but some are saying that the boy has to develop this skill in order to survive.

According to local media, the boy is a 9th grader. His father draws portraits for tourists and his younger brother also sells souvenir at the spot. They usually sell souvenirs after school.
