16 Year Old Pianist Dressed Like A Cat Performs In Perfect Synch With ‘Tom And Jerry’ Cartoon

If you’re a person of a certain age, you might remember watching Tom and Jerry cartoons over and over again growing up. One of the best known shorts is The Cat Concerto, a wordless animated feature originally released in movie theaters in 1947. It’s so highly regarded that the timeless short even won an Academy Award the following year.

Musician Yannie Tan plays a live rendition of the “Cat Concerto” (an arranged version of Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 by Franz Liszt), a classic Tom and Jerry cartoon that features Tom the cat attempting to perform the same classical Franz Liszt piece.
