Sat in a high-rise office building, you definitely wouldn’t expect to see a giant Boeing C-17 plane just meters away from the window. However, that’s exactly what happened to one terrified bunch of office workers in Australia.
The footage shows the plane – a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-17, which was in rehearsal for Brisbane’s Riverfire airshow at the South Bank parklands – flying scarily close to the buildings. Luckily, it adjusts its trajectory at the very last minute to avoid a collision.
The stunt has been slammed on social media as “unnecessarily stupid and dangerous”
Riverfire happens every year in Brisbane to celebrate the end of Queensland’s three week arts and cultural festival with a day-long concert as well as aerobatics and flypasts from the Australian Defence Force.
