The impressive blue tarantulas are very rare and critically endangered as well as highly venomous.
They belong to the species of poecilotheria which are known for their unique vivid colours.
They tend to be maximum 7 inches and are the only spider species that do not use cobwebs to capture their prey.
Their owner lives in the Philippines and has nine spiders in total, including the mother who is pregnant.
