A shop was raided by looters after hurricane Florence caused chaos and forced workers to leave the shop unattended.
The looting started in North Carolina, as people can be seen fleeing the store with handfuls of goods and as an onlooker captures the moment on video.
The hurricane has now been downgraded to a tropical depression but is still bringing heavy rain, causing widespread flooding and destruction across the south-east of the United States.
So far, Florence has been linked to at least 18 deaths in two states, including several in flash flooding.
