A distressed shark caught in a fishhook has been rescued by doting divers.
Troy Illoski, 51, took the images of the shark while visiting Grand Bahama Island, an island off the Bahamas.
In the photos and video, shark whisperer, Riccardo Sturla Avogadri, is seen removing fish hooks from the shark months and gills.
Troy, an engineer and shark conservationist from Haskell, New Jersey, USA, said: “I frequently visit these waters around the Bahamas to film the sharks.
