Police in England are hunting for a suspected beer thief who bears a striking resemblance to David Schwimmer, best known for his portrayal of Ross Geller on the popular 90s sitcom “Friends.”
Blackpool Police posted a photo on Facebook, seeking the public’s help identifying a man who is accused of stealing several beers from a restaurant.
However, the post caused a huge response as it was shared more than 41,000 times and generated more than 67,000 comments on the post as many people noticed that the suspect appears to look like actor David Schwimmer, who is best known for his role of Ross Geller in the television show, “Friends.”
After social media’s reaction to the post, actor David Schwimmer responded with a hilarious tweet of the beer thief, it read:
“Officers, I swear it wasn’t me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation.#itwasntme”
