New Yorkers Trying To Cross The Street During The NYC Marathon

The New York City marathon is an uplifting affirmation of the human spirit triumphing over physical limitations. More than 50,000 runners from across the globe pushed themselves to the limit to traverse each of the five boroughs over a whopping 26 miles and change.

It’s also a real pain in the neck if for some reason you really need to cross a major street at the height of the race. Trying to cross the street during the New York City Marathon is a little bit like playing Frogger.

It takes guts, agility, tactical skills — and sometimes you still get hit.
