A cheeky elephant has been caught stealing a welcome mat from outside a front door and sticking it in its mouth.
Filmed outside the reception of the South Luangwa Wildlife Camp in Zambia, the naughty nelly scoops up the straw mat.
Manager at the safari camp, Dawie Maree, who took the video, says that life never gets boring as encounters with these gentle giants happen daily.
He says elephants come close to the houses looking for food and to bathe in waterholes but this time, this one inquisitive one mistook the door mat for exotic human cuisine.
