Venice might be flooded but that hasn’t stopped some locals going about their daily business and even taking part in a MARATHON.
In this remarkable footage runners can be seen wading through ankle-deep water as they try to carry on with their plans as normal despite the unprecedented flooding.
Rain-soaked residents and tourists can also be seen sitting outside at restaurant tables and cafes and taking in the sights of the city, despite the horrendous conditions.
