Two Wisconsin women woke up to find a strange man sleeping in their dog’s bed. Lynn Sarver and Elise Diskerud thought it might have been Lynn’s son needing a place to crash after a night of fun. They became scared when they realized they didn’t know the man sleeping with Benton, a 150-pound Mastiff.
Understandably alarmed, Lynn Sarver called the police. But when they arrived and woke him up, it transpired it was a man who lived two doors down, who had mistakenly entered the house… presumably very sloshed. She decided not to press charges. She has also forgiven her three-year-old pooch for his woeful guarding efforts.
