Firefighters Rescue Deer From Flooded Basement After Rainstorm

When a couple of deer became trapped in a flooded basement, the local fire department was called to get them out.

The Zoneton Fire Protection District in Kentucky says heavy rainfall over a couple of days caused two deer to take refuge in a construction site. While they were safe from the storm, they didn’t stay dry.

The dug-out basement took on water and the animals couldn’t get out once the rain stopped.
