A man in Edmonton, Canada was at work when he received a motion alert on his phone from his RING doorbell. He activated the live video and saw a man dressed as a utility worker acting suspiciously. Another man soon joined him and they started trying to break the door open.
The thief can be seen looking at the video doorbell a couple of times. He then tries to open the door using a glove, presumably to not leave fingerprints. At some point, he motions to someone to come over and he pulls out a walkie-talkie to communicate with someone not in view of the camera.
Just as he gets the door open, the homeowner confronted them via the app, they both look shocked and took off.
